Nationwide Tools & Supplies was established in 1984 by Ray Doherty on the foundation of superior service. Our roots were in the crating industry, and as consumers, we expected no less than superior service from our nail vendor.
Nationwide has been there as a customer, so we know firsthand that customers want solutions, not excuses. It was on these premises that Nationwide was built.
Our home office is in Houston, Texas, and we continue to grow with three other Texas locations serving areas from the Rio Grande Valley to College Station. These branches are located in McAllen, Corpus Christi, and College Station.
We operate a fleet of customized trucks to ensure our customers’ needs are met while on the job. We deliver expert knowledge, professional service, and quality products to construction sites in the inner city and surrounding neighborhoods.
In addition, Nationwide’s home office in Houston is a well-stocked 17,000 sq. ft. facility. Our remodeled showroom has been redesigned to serve our walk-in customers in a fast and personal level. We pride ourselves on being a one-stop contractor’s supply house offering products ranging from nails and staples to a complete line of industrial strength power tools. Our reputation for outstanding service has built a strong and loyal customer base.

That's right — you don't need to leave your site to run to your vendor for supplies or tool service. It’s all the expert knowledge, professional service, and quality products you’ve come to expect from our showrooms but at your job site instead. Back in 1989 when we developed our property at 6100 N. Shepherd Drive, we started carrying power tools. It's challenging to carry all the major power tool brands, but we understand that tool buyers have a preference. Your reason may be a desire for certain tool features or maybe that your dad used and trusted this brand. At Nationwide, we try to satisfy your appetite with a wide selection.
Where else can you buy a power tool and get factory-authorized service at the same retail store? We don't send your tool off the premises to an outside vendor to have your tool serviced. Your tool is taken care of in-house by our seasoned, factory-trained technicians.
