Hitachi Power Tools becomes Metabo HPT

Hitachi Power Tools has announced they will officially change their name to Metabo HPT in North America. This change will apply to all their power tools, fasteners, accessories and outdoor power equipment products. Metabo HPT will be a separate from Metabo, the Pennsylvania sister company under Hitachi Koki Co., Ltd. (which will renamed Koki Holdings Co., Ltd.).  

The transition will begin in September 2018 with the launch of MultiVolt. Most products will change over to the new brand name after December 2018.
